Blue is my fave color

I don't care if anyone says its a gnarly color. I love blues on my lips, I love blues on my nails and I CERTAINLY love blues on my eyes. I just love love love blue. Get into it! Makeup has no rules or boundaries, so if you wanna wear a straight bright blue on your lid, go for it! Make the Na'vi proud :)

That is all.

And as a heads up, I will be posting a pic soon of all my blues :)

High Voltage Cosmetics. Review!

As an addict of loose mineral shadows, I am constantly in search of the perfect mix of slip, wear, vibrancy, and of course, COLOR!!! ^ _ ^

My search has led me to a company I came cross while doing a random browse. May I introduce you to High Voltage Cosmetics :)
The site is really helpful when it comes to selecting the colors you want since they have swatches of each color on skin, which I greatly prefer to just a picture of the color. They have a section that is purely devoted to matte colors, which itself is not broken down into color categories.
Then you get to the shimmer section, which is broken down into categories such as Pinks and Reds, Greens and Teals, Blues and so forth.
I tried to pick out colors from all categories, to test out what they had.

So I placed my order then when they had a neat sale going on, it was get 5 full sized jars for 15 dollars!
Normally they cost 4.50 for most shades, which is still a great price, but being as I am a bargain hunter, I knew the time was upon me to try. Shipping was extremely reasonable, I believe it was only $1.60 for 5 jars!
It had a notice on the site that stated there would be a 5-7 day wait to process plus shipping time, but to my surprise, my things got quicker than I had expected.
I ordered on the 7th, and got my shadows on the 13th, which made me very happy.

Now on the most important part! The shadows themselves!
I got five as I said before, they came in a yellow envelope with a cute personal note, which was a nice touch.  The jars come packed full to the top, without a sifter. I don't mind. I actually prefer no sifter since I can get to the goods faster.

I was blown away by each color I recieved as I swatched for the first time. All of them were so silky and the colors are so vibrant and true to color.

From left to right, you have on top of a Wet 'n' Wild cream pencil:
Glam Rock- A gorgeous dark midnight blue with what seems to be red and blue and silver shimmer. Ah, so pretty!
StarBreaker: Bright chartreuse-lime color with multi colored shimmer.
 Rule Breaker: Pretty canteloupe orange.
Cocktail Party: Insane Turquoise aqua color.
Alter-ego- A deep purplish pink

Sorry my image quality is so kinda lacking, but I just had to show them!
Unlike many shadows, these don't fade after just a few hours, they stay true for a quite a time. They're very pigmented and soft and easy to work with. When used wet, they look so insanely pigmented and metallic, except for StarBreaker, I'n not quite sure why though :(

Here is a look I did using all five colors, I really liked doing it! hehe...

And another...
Here I just used Cocktail Party wet along with a brown. Look at how it pops!

Teehee, yes it got on my lashes! Hey! It was 5 in the morning! :) I might mix it into my mascara... I like it!

Well I hope you enjoy my review!
Bye!

My favorite YouTube beauty guru...

All4one1fourall is definitely my favorite! Charlene, you're so sweet and kind to your subscribers. You always do your thing and you don't care what anyone else says.

Thanks to you, I warmed up to Lime Crime and liked the products lol.
You're big grin always makes me smile along with you.

I like the cool color combos you come up with, they're really neat. Stuff I wouldn't think of lol.
My favorite thusfar is the Silver and Red look you did! I never would have thought of pairing red and silver! Geneus I say!

Lol, Thanks for being brave enough to make your videos. I know that there are many nasty folks floating around on the internet, but you seem to brush them off. That just shows what a strong charismatic person you are, which makes me appreciate your work even more. You're  really fun to watch, I actually feel happy when I see a new vid of yours in my sub box. :)

Well, I really hope you have an awesome day!

L.A Colors 5 Metallic Eyeshadow Pallete

The pink STAINED my eyelid for 2 days.

I threw it away.

The end.

Beauty From The Earth Cosmetics... Stuff.

Okay so everyone and their mama has heard of BFTE cosmetics.
I first heard of them from an online beauty forum that posted about inexpensive makeup.
SO I checked out the site and was blown away by all of the colors! Too many pretty colors make a girl go crazzzzyyy.
So my first order I got 2 samples that cost 2 dollars each.

Spoiled: Gorgeous ocean teal.
Vamp: Seriously sexy warm red with golden sparkle.
Big Ego: Dark purple with insane color payoff and reddish shimmer.
Nebula: Forest green with silver shimmer. Looks blackish when applied. Nice crease color :)

They came in a 3 gram jar with a bit of product, which is just fine with me because little goes a long way.

Okay, also a neat thing that BFTE has is that they have a program called "Color of the week" Which is basically a full sized jar at a sample jar price, the only catch is that its always a random color AND you are only allowed to get one jar.
Thats okay though, its still awesome.
With that program I was able to get:

Karma: Shimmery Purplish pink.
Isis: Deep red that turns rusty cherry red when spread out.

The main problem I had with Spoiled, Isis and Karma was that they made my eyelid itch like CRAZY! I had to take it off during work because it was really itching bad. When I took the colors off I wouldn't have any redness but I hated that. I don't use those colors because of that which is a real shame since they're so pretty.
I don't have sensitive skin, and other similar colors from other companies don't make my eyelid itchy... So thats weird.

The free sample I got was nice, it was:
Tangerine: A bright orange with orangey sparkle.

*Shipping*

I believe shipping is flat rate of 4 dollars. They come in a yellow envelope with bubble wrap and a free sample and a cute business card :)
Shipping is super quick, with both orders they came within about 4 days.
Customer service is awesome! I accidentally used the wrong zip code on an order and emailed them to correct the problem. They replied quickly within a few hours and fixed my blunder! Yay!
Not bad :)

Okay guys well that is my quick review on BFTE, I hope it was helpful and stuff :)

See ya! Keep being sweet and pretty!

Hey dudes, so here is a list of blogs that I am planning to do.

* Beauty From The Earth Cosmetics

All of these products I have purchased with my own money, so be assured that they are my own un-influenced opinion.

Besides, I never get free stuff :(
hahaha.
See ya guys!

Glamour Doll Eyes Review.

Like many girls surfing the video waves of the Youtube beauty community, I was drawn to a company called Glamour Doll Eyes. So many awesome gurus have rave reviews on the company, so I figured I would check it out. Sure enough, I was absolutely drawn into the pretty colors and the pretty low prices...
About 1.50 for a sample baggie,
2.50 for a sample 5 gram jar, and 6.00 for a full size.

*Shipping:*
I placed my order on September 22nd, and recieved it on October 7th.... About a 2 week wait.
I was curious as to why it took so long to recieve my products, so I went back on the site to see what was up! Apparently, the owner of the company, Vee, runs the entire company by herself  meaning that she does all of the mixing of the eyeshadows by herself.
Girl, hire some help.
I understand, as I have also had experience in the business world that hiring employees drains a lot of profit, but honestly I think the company would benefit from having the extra help. Not only would the orders be filled quicker, but customers really appreciate their things getting there sooner which means... MORE BUSINESS ^ - ^
Also what may also contribute to the sluggish shipping of Glamour Doll is that on the site it states that Vee mixes your shadows as soon as you order so that the product is "fresh" ....
Uh, so you mean that you have no made shadows in stock? None? No pre-filled jars? No?
Geez, no wonder it takes so long to get the product. In the time they're mixed, packaged, labels printed and shipped, I'll be close to my menopause! <----- (exaggeration alert) hehe.
But seriously, I wouldn't mind a shadow that has been around for a few weeks, as long as I can get it quicker and I am sure many people would agree.
The shadows came in a normal yellow envelope without bubble wrap, and the lids secured on with a strip of tape.... And I didn't get any samples :(
lol.

OK so we're done reviewing the shipping, now onto....

*The Shadows*
OMG so after being a little annoyed at the slow shipping, I was excited once again as soon as I opened the jars of shadow. They are so pretty, the jars themselves topped with a cute sticker with the name of the shadow. I ordered 4 shadows,
Electric Lemonaide- Shimmery bright yellow shadow.
Angel Wings- Pretty shimmery white, great used as a highlight
Pinky Swear- Best. Pink. Ever.
Tattooed- A gorgeous bluish purple with low shimmer.

The shadows are silky and wonderfully pigmented even when I swatched without a base, and the were pretty long lasting. I've been testing these babies out for about a week and I can honestly say that I really like these shadows. My favorite of the bunch is Tattooed, which I must say is a pretty unique shade. A little goes a long way with these, they're super silky and not chalky at all.
The only one I had a slight problem with was Angel Wings, which kind of just turns into shimmer and no white color after a few hours. Other than that, greatness!

So in conclusion:

Would I order from them again?
Its likely. Only thing that stops me is the shipping.
